Apologies and privacy

One thing I've tried to teach my son is that it's not enough to acknowledge that you've done something wrong. You also have to express contrition. Also, when you express contrition, you should not be smirking or acting as though it's wacky and fun to misbehave. In fact, an insincere apology is pretty much equivalent to refusing to apologize.

I'm also teaching him about private parts and people's right to control their own bodies.

He pretty much understands all that, too. He's four years old.
