I was very lucky last night. I had about 15 minutes alone with my wife, and she let me bend her ear about Everyone Loves Blue Dog. With her help, I'm pretty much past the plot impasse that had me bogged down all day yesterday. There are other issues with the book that I'm not happy with, but I can deal with those in the first draft. Or the revision.

In other news, a friend of Salad Eater's emailed several days ago to let us know that his cross-country art tour was going to be featured on The Today Show this morning between 8 and 9. I left a reminder note on the table before I left.

When I arrived at the coffee shop, I found another email telling us his spot had been pushed back to 9:35 or so. I have no way of letting the family know. Guess they'll have to catch it on the internet.
