Like half my friends list, I am sick. I have the kind of headache/stuffy nose/raw throat/tired and woozy cold that makes me want to go to bed and stay there until I feel like I'm 19 again.

That'd be a long, long nap, but I sure could use one right now.

Also, progress on Everyone Loves Blue Dog is thoroughly stalled as new ideas muscle out bad ones and the 56K I've already done will need serious reworking. Big surprise there.

In better news, I just received a note that my contract from Random House is in the mail today. YAY!

Now I just need to skip out of work early and life will be grand.
