Still, I had been planning to do some work on the goof for the next book, Man Bites World, starting at dark o'clock in the morning. A week on a new project, just taking fun notes and writing out possibilities would be just the break I need before starting the paper polish.
But I'm going to sleep in instead. I was a complete zombie at dinner time, and I was the one cooking. I put out a piece of aluminum foil to cover the chicken while it rested, worked on the peas and noodles, then thought "Why is this foil here? It's in the way." and threw it away. And that was when I was still half-sensible.
Bed soon. And sleep.
