Come on, people. Yard sales are just a way of ridding your home of perfectly functional but completely unwanted items so they don't go into some landfill somewhere. It's not a money-making scheme, 'k? Trying to bring in a little cash will just leave you with a garage full of crap.
Items snagged at yard sales today:
the Mac version of Call of Duty
War for the Oaks by Emma Bull
Heroics for Beginners by John Moore
Ombria in Shadow by Patricia A. McKillip
Maureen Birnbaum, Barbarian Swordsperson by George Alec Effinger.
All the books were hardcovers and in very nice condition.
Total cost? $2
If I'd had the carrying capacity, I'd have picked up some of those 3-D puzzles, too.
The best part? That's what I picked up on the way to the library. I get to scout around on the way home, too.
Hee!
